About Le Pellerin

Le Pellerin is located in Loire-Atlantique with the Vendee to the south, Brittany to the north and the Loire Valley to the east.

Le Pellerin developed on the banks of the Loire and a small ferry still operates to carry people and vehicles across the river. The river promenade provides an attractive location for community events and on Saturdays the recently restored Market Hall, and the adjacent street, hosts a lively French market. Le Pellerin has a population of 4,000 inhabitants and is in many ways a typical small French town with a very active community who are keen to develop more links with individuals and organisations in North Ferriby.
